Splendid Solitude

Splendid Solitude was released on A Metrosexual's Confessions demo on 5 October 2006. The track was composed by Wind, Hamvas, and Albert around 2004. They also played on 19 April 2005 at the Ecofest at the Gödör Klub. The length of the track is 10:56 which has been the longest song of the band so far. The composition of the song was mainly influenced by the songs on Pink Floyd's Live in Pompeii record. The lyrics was affected by Cobain's lyricism.
The song starts with a guitar intro and then the drums and the bass guitar enter. The song uses a verse-chorus-verse-chorus format and there are two instrumental bridges with a guitar playing the main melody. The second bridge is lengthened by Wind's guitar solo. During the guitar solo Wind uses and octave (from the multi-effect pedal) to create an atmosphere for the song. However, in concerts the band sometimes played a shorter version of the song in which the second instrumental bridge is usually cut.
